Why should anyone visit your site?
It seems like everyone these days has a presence online. Whether it is twitter, a blog, facebook, myspace, or something else entirely everyone has jumped on the bandwagon! Ok, not everyone. My grandmother isn’t online and at 87 years young (Christmas is coming up…) she’s not going to be getting on board. That’s her declaration, not mine. But with so many people having so many sites it’s hard to know where we should visit and why. So I decided to ask you why should anyone spend their time on your site?
- Why ask you?
- Because you alone are able to give the best explanation. I could tell everyone why, but I can’t sell them on your site. Only you can do that
- Promote your site
- Here’s your chance to shamelessly promote your online presence. Just comment below and be sure to follow these simple (I think they’re simple at least) rules:
- Keep your explanation to 45 words or less
- Keep it family friendly
- Don’t promote anything illegal
- No pornographic sites
- Using keywords as the link to your site is fine. Making the entire promotion one giant string of keywords is not fine
- Both the site and the promotion should be in English
- What am I asking in return?
- The usual. A short (or long) post/twit/whatever with a link back to this article telling people about it. That’s all. Nothing earth shattering. In fact here’s the code you can use:
<a href="http://www.ablogaboutnothing.com/why-visit-site" target="_blank" title="why we should anyone visit your site"> why we should visit your site</a>
Just copy and paste it like you would anything else.

My ehow articles rock.
Life is variety. Interest phase in/out.
list would’nt return feed. Sorry. Love idea of posting a tweet and doing so right now. Nice to see other people’s reasons too.
You should come to ReptileGeeks.com, because, well its awesome. You can learn all about reptiles, and meet some of the best people. Everyone’s super friendly, well maybe not EVERYONE, but mostly. People answer your questions without being a tool about it, and telling you your stupid for not knowing, even if its a retarded question.
AND, its, HANDS DOWN, the BEST Reptile and Amphibian site on the web, IMO.
Cassies last blog post..My Male Baby Ball Python-Glaedr
Agreed Cassie. It’s a fantastic site.
Great idea. More bloggers should follow your example
