Weekly goals
Some blogs put up weekly earning reports, but I’ve decided to do it a little different. Instead I’m going to do a weekly goal disclosure and report. Since this is the first week I have nothing to report, but I do have some goals to disclose. If you have any suggestions on meeting these goals please let me know.
- Increase average number of visits per day from 890 to 1500
- Accomplish two link-baits with high to medium profile blogs
- Increase Adsense revenue by at LEAST 35%(last week was $4.23)
- 150 RSS subscribers (languishing around 30-65 depending on the day)
There are my goals for this next week. The time period will be from today (Monday) thru 11:59 PM next Sunday night. It I make these goals you my valued reader will get… a new list of goals for next week. If I don’t make these goals you’ll get a lot of whining, complaining, and excuses as to why I couldn’t accomplish my goals.

I gave you a little help for meeting your goals: I visit your blog, I subscribe to your feed (btw, maybe you increase your rss subscribers if you write “rss feed” with other color more visible) and I gave you a click
But I’m very curious to find out the tips for your goals.
Diana13 - Hi, and thanks for the support. Please don’t click on anything, especially adsense ads unless you have a genuine interest in the product being advertised. I don’t want Google thinking because I made a post mentioning their name I’m somehow encouraging people to click.
As far as tips go, at this point I don’t have anything new. We’ll see over the next couple of weeks how things pan out.

Very cool. Increasing adsense revenue 35% shouldnt be hard if you can increase the traffic to 1500 a day.
This is very ambitious but I’m sure you can do it…. that’s remind me one man goals blog .. anyway good luck I’m sure you can do it

FBB - From the looks of things based on today even if I don’t increase the readership that much I’ll increase well beyond 35% within the one week time period.

Valentin - If I had anything to report I might, well maybe after a month. For the moment I have nothing to even talk about as it has only been a day.
Definitely good luck. You’ve set yourself some pretty ambitious targets and I’d be interested to know what special things you plan to do to help reach them.
I’ve recently started writing my blog and I’m posting a weekly update although I will probably stop when I reach an as yet undecided point.
Anyway, best of luck hitting your targets, I’ve subscribed to your feed so thats one more person reading it

Idiot - Hey thanks for stopping by and commenting! I’ve almost reached the adsense goal, just need a little bit more. As far as plans to reach them nothing in particular. Just keep writing decent articles and looking for ways to get the big guys to link to me. RSS feed is slowly growing thanks to “viewers like you.”
