One contest to rule them all

One contest to rule them all

I’ve seen a few really nice blog contests. I’ve seen a few decent ones. I’ve seen a few lousy ones, and I’ve seen a few absolutely horrid ones. This contest however might just be the greatest I have seen at this point. The contest is sponsored by David Airey who is celebrating his one year anniversary with a contest that includes an unbelievably generous prize package. What’s more there will be multiple winners. Once you see the sheer number of prizes you’ll understand why. Even if for some strange reason the prizes are of no interest you should still stop by David’s site and see what he has to offer in the way of innovative and original logo design. Let’s take a quick peak at the prizes being offered.

David Airey
David, the contest sponsor himself, will be providing a custom logo to the winner of the Gold prize package

Nate Whitehill
Nate will provide a custom made wordpress theme for your blog. For an example of some of Nate’s work check out www.johnchow.com, or www.shoemoney.com. Only an insane person would not want something by Nate. This is also part of the Gold Package

Maki of Dosh Dosh
Maki is providing a personal advertising and marketing plan as his part of the Gold Package. If you’ve never read his blog you’re missing out on a wealth of information and even if you don’t win I highly recommend subscribing to his RSS feed.

John Boardley of I Love Typography
John is supplying the setup and hosting on a dedicated server at Media Temple for one year. I believe it is one year free of charge, but I’m not 100% positive about that. Regardless it sounds like a great prize in and of itself but as part of the Gold Package with all the rest it looks that much better.

Lorelle VanFossen of Lorelle on WordPress
Lorelle is giving away a signed copy of the book Blogging Tips. This prize rounds out the Gold Package

Tara Roskell of Graphic Design Blog.
Tara is offering a logo design as part of the Silver Prize Package

Randa Clay of Randa Clay design
Randa Clay is offering a website critique as part of the Silver Prize Package

Lyndon Antcliff of Cornwall SEO
Lyndon is giving one hour of time to consult about search engine optimization as part of the Silver Prize Package

Darren Rowse of Problogger
Darren Rowse is offering $60.00 worth of books as the final part of the Silver Prize Package.

Jonathan-C. Phillips of Smart Wealthy Rich
Jonathan is offering a expert logo/blog design as part of the Bronze Prize Package

Daniel Scocco of Daily Blog Tips
Daniel is offering a one hour consultation on blog optimization as part of the Bronze Prize Package

Brian Gardner, WordPress designer and consultant
Brian is offering a personal Revolution theme as part of the Bronze Prize Package.

Phil Gerbyshak of Make it Great
Phil will personally critique and feature your blog on his PR 5 blog. As part of the feature you will be interviewed via email. This is the final prize in the Bronze Prize Package

But that’s not all! There are a whole bunch of bonus prizes!

As I mentioned, many lines of text ago, this is an unbelievably gracious set of prizes. For details on how to enter the contest please refer to the official rules, and all the information you need is there as well as more detail about all of the prizes.

David - No idea. That’s a question best directed to the sponsor of the contest.

Jamie - No problem, and thank you!
