A quick tip: Broken alternator belt
Getting stranded on the road is no fun especially when it is something as simple as an alternator belt. Grab a pair of panty hose and throw them in the jockey (glove) box for an additional measure of safety! This video will show you how to make a temporary alternator belt from panty hose. Only use this in a emergency as it is not designed to replace the alternator belt for any length of time. It will at least get you on the road!

Thank you for this video! After watching you, I was able to this by myself…and it was so easy less then 15 min., granted I didn’t have a belt at all~ And It works! Yes! Thanks to you I will be off to the Mechanic to out the belt on~
